# 27 - Pro Race Car Driver Ben Maier

Ben Maier joins The ThrillCast as a 13-year-old professional race car driver following his first Stadium Super Truck weekend. His appearance comes after a third-place finish at Mid Ohio, making that result the immediate context for the conversation. The episode introduces a young driver through a specific competition milestone, with his age, debut weekend, and finishing position all central to the description of his visit. Maier is the named guest for this installment of the show.

The racing context is concentrated on that first Stadium Super Truck outing rather than a broad account of multiple seasons. Mid Ohio is the setting for the result, and third place marks the finish that precedes his appearance on the podcast. Together, those details frame an introduction to Maier at an early point in his participation in the series. Episode 27 presents him in the wake of that debut, placing a recent podium finish alongside his status as a teenage professional race car driver.
